Born as the export branch of Acquaconta Wehrle (currently specialized in supplying water utilities) Watertech is a completely independent Italian manufacturer of water meters. We are one of the few companies that produce only water meters (no other “instruments” related to the water sector). This very focused mission is one of the best guaranties that we can offer our customers.

The company is based in Canelli (a town between the two cities of Turin and Milan, in Northern Italy).

Our range of products include the turbine water meter, single jet or multi jet type, super dry dial (only the turbine is in the water, all the gears are dry) or protected rollers (rollers of the cubic meters are inside a tight box, completely filled with a special liquid), EEC class B or C approved, PN 10 or 16 and Woltmann meters.
All these meters (dry dial or liquid filled dial) can be equipped with a pulse output device (reed-switch).
At present we are implementing the operations for obtaining the new MID certification (which will be completely operative starting from 2016).

The majority of our products has obtained the EEC homologation by the PTB (Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt), unanimously recognized as the strictest certification authority in Europe.

Both the production and calibration chains are entirely carried out in Italy and this gives our products a very good cost/performance ratio.

Our manufacturing and testing machinery are the most up-dated in the European market and represent the state-of-the-art in our field. They include automatic ultrasonic welding machines, laser machines and fully electronic test benches.
The high quality of our meters (and of the manufacturing process) gives us a leadership position as far as “high quality oriented customers” are concerned.

We currently produce more than 500,000 meters per year

Watertech has obtained the quality certification according to ISO9001-2000 standard rules.
